Sunday, September 6 – Lazy Sunday Afternoon Jazz Exhibition

Spend a relaxed Sunday afternoon with Duo Laroo/Byrd at Holland Tunnel Gallery. Enjoy intimate jazz, original music and spontaneous improvisations by Saskia Laroo and Warren Byrd in the inspiring setting of the gallery’s art exhibitions.

On Saturday, September 12, the Saskia Laroo Band will be the swinging closing act of the Tuschinski Festival in Rotterdam.

The festival takes place in the courtyard of the new Little C district, and celebrates jazz, young talent, creativity and the spirit of Abraham Tuschinski: “Nothing is impossible.”

After a full day of performances, workshops and emerging jazz talent, the Saskia Laroo Band will bring an energetic set full of jazz, funk, grooves, improvisation and feel-good music. Expect a festive finale in true Laroo style, where jazz, funk, hip hop and dance come together in a lively, genre-crossing performance.

Friday, October 9 – Saskia Laroo Band at Jeker Jazz

The Saskia Laroo Band returns to Maastricht for a high-energy night at Jeker Jazz! Expect an adventurous mix of jazz, funk, grooves and improvisation, with original Laroo music and plenty of room for spontaneous musical interaction.

Saturday, October 10 – Maarten Russchen Blues Band

The following night, the groove continues with the Maarten Russchen Blues Band at Café Enfin in Maastricht. Guitarist and vocalist Maarten Russchen leads the band through an energetic mix of blues, jazz, funk and grooves, joined by Saskia Laroo, Warren Byrd, Taco Nieuwenhuizen and Sin Banovic.
